Lady Barbary Rose of Endless Hills
Barb Gable received her B.A. in Studio Arts, 1977 from Northern Illinois University; She has worked as advertising manager, art director, and draftsperson; but has always had an interest in calligraphy, illustration, costuming and horses--all amazingly useful things to know for SCA projects! Lady Barbary is an avid book-collector, also fabricholic; always looking for a new craft at which to try her hand. She used to ride horses but now her primary job at shows and events is as the photographer! She loves all periods of accessories that have "bling"--pearls, gems, spangles...Her Elizabethan Gloves project, to date, was one of the most ambitious! Lady Barbary has served her Barony as Herald and Signet. She is looking forward to her next job as Baronial A&S Minister. Married to Gunnarr of Endless Hills (Dave Gable), two grown children, Mark (not SCA) and "Banshee" (Jen).
