Olivia d'Anjou
Oliviad is an administrative assistant for the Education department of a large nursing home in Central New York. She lives in Syracuse with her husband Christopher (THL Christopher Harper) and their two cats, Patch and Smoky.
Oliviad spends her free-time researching various SCA topics including cooking and needlework. Other interests in the SCA are Autocratting, Cooking Feasts, and Retaining. Her current research interest is beekeeping, both modern and historical. Some topics in beekeeping include: Honey, Wax, Mead, Skeps and Beekeeping Suits.
She has installed two packages of bees into two different hives in May 2008. One package went into a top-bar hive and the other in a Langstroth hive. She says it was a fascinating experience! She's looking forward to the upcoming honey seasons and harvests.
